Jake's CeresinOur Ceresin lubes were developed to provide solutions to some of the 50/50 problems: high temperature requirements melting in the case, difficulty in large volume casting and loading, and short seating due to lube migration, especially in progressive presses. Each of Jake’s Ceresin lubes requires different amounts of heat to flow well. All are noted for their superior “workability”. They will not crumble, shrink or breakdown in the case. If you crease a stick with your fingernail you might be surprised by its “elastic nature.” It’s clean and will not migrate to other bullets in your bin. ![]() Jake's Moly

Purple is considered our most versatile lube. It flows well at 117 to 125 degrees Fahrenheit. Many commercial casters like it because it covers a wide range of bullets. The “sweet spot" seems to be 1000 to 1800 FPS, but "your results may vary." This will be your favorite if you cast a wide array of calibers and loads and don’t want to repeatedly “melt out" the Lubesizer for a different lube.
